Our Horses
At The Serenity Ranch, we have 23 horses and a Dexter Cow that we care for. Our animals come from different backgrounds. Our rescued horses are horses that have been rescued from all different situations that arise. Be it of neglect, owner hardship, or abuse - our rescued horses are in retirement, happily living out their lives. Our sanctuary horses are retired due to medical issues or old age. All of our rescued and sanctuary horses get to live out their lives happily with all the love, treats, grain and hay that they want.

Hi!!! My name is Darby. I am a very special Draft horse. I am very happy to call The Serenity Ranch home. I am also one of the lucky horses that has never been neglected or starved or abused. The first person that loved and adored me was terminally ill so was no longer able to take care of me. The Serenity Ranch came to the rescue and now I’m loved and adored by everyone I meet.

Venus
Hi!!! My name is Venus. I am a very friendly, happy mini horse. I was left to eat as much as I wanted and was 100lbs overweight. I foundered at 4 years old, so could barely walk. The Serenity Ranch came to the rescue. I had to spend 2 weeks in the hospital. as my food was very limited and I had to be monitored by a vet. Ten years later I can walk and my feet have recovered fully. I am one of those horses that all other horses seem to love!
